In USVT, the main organizational entity with direct responsibilities in the field of quality is the Quality Evaluation and Assurance Commission (CEAC-U), established based on the Senate's decision. The Commission is constituted in accordance with legal provisions, operates based on its own regulations, and its current structure complies with legal provisions regarding the assurance of education quality. CEAC-U is subordinate to the Rector, who is directly responsible for the quality of education provided by USVT. The operational leadership of CEAC-U is ensured by a coordinator appointed by the Rector. CEAC-U oversees the Quality Evaluation and Assurance Commissions at the faculty level (CEAC-F). CEAC-F are led by a quality assurance responsible (RAC-F) and include quality assurance representatives from teaching departments (RAC-D), quality assurance responsible for study program(s) (RAC-PS), the student representative, and the employer representative. These commissions (CEAC-F) have responsibilities in the quality domain corresponding to the study programs they manage.
CEAC implements specific quality management regulations and procedures at the level of organizational subdivisions, approved by the USVT Senate. It manages the evaluation process of teaching staff and applies regulations regarding data collection and their statistical interpretation (questionnaires, statistical forms, observation sheets, evaluation scales, etc.).
CEAC-U develops qualitative and quantitative benchmarking activities in relation to universities in the country and abroad for the evaluation and monitoring of quality. The quality management system model at USVT is the European quality model proposed by the main bodies representing the European Higher Education Area (ENQA, EUA, EURASHE, etc.), oriented towards excellence in the educational process in its integrity.
