Mission
The mission of the IDIFREP Department is to manage and coordinate all Distance Learning, Reduced Frequency Learning, and Lifelong Education activities at the university level, in cooperation with the faculties of the university, to ensure the provision of valuable and quality training programs from a scientific and methodological point of view.
All teaching activities organized in the ID/IFR system, respectively EP, are carried out within the faculties or departments accredited to conduct university or postgraduate study programs in the form of full-time organization in the respective field.
The main objectives for achieving the DIDIFREP mission are:
- training teaching staff in the design, editing, and delivery of course modules for ID/IFR/EP and the specific support services offered to students;
- ensuring the training of teaching staff in the design, editing, and delivery of course modules for ID/IFR/EP;
- development - production of courses in ID/IFR/EP technology and ensuring the quality of training materials, with the support of experts in the field;
- supporting the development of a research, development, and production center for multimedia materials for Computer-Assisted Learning at the university;
- management and coordination of the department's website and electronic platform;
- providing training programs through modern educational technologies based on the internet;
- supporting faculties in marketing the training programs offered and in authorizing ID/IFR/EP specializations;
- developing the ID/IFR/EP infrastructure within the university and in territorial centers for distance learning;
- collaborating with public institutions in partnerships, non-governmental organizations, associations, etc. from the country and abroad, in organizing continuous training and professional retraining programs.
