Event message for teachers and students, from the National Council of Rectors!

Dear students, members of the academic community,

On December 4, 2024, following national consultations with the rectors of universities in Romania, the National Council of Rectors (CNR) unanimously decided to send a public message of encouragement to all young people in Romania: participating in voting is an essential act of responsibility and civic engagement.

Universities, as pillars of education and the formation of democratic values, have the duty to contribute to the strengthening of an informed and active society.

In this regard, we join the CNR initiative and send an appeal to you, the youth, to become active agents of change, to inform yourselves, and to participate in the electoral process.

Voting is not just a right; it is a responsibility.

Through voting, each of your voices matters, and the future of our society is directly influenced by the choices we make.

Correct information and active involvement are essential for a transparent electoral process and for strengthening democracy.
