The University of Life Sciences "King Michael I" Timișoara signed on 10.12.2024, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education, the Financing Contract No. 14117 / 10.12.2024, regarding the implementation of the project titled: Professional training program for teachers in agricultural education - Western Region.
The proposed professional training project by USVT will be funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Pillar VI, Component 15, Reform 4, Investment 7 and aims to improve the quality of education offered at the pre-university level, on the professional route of regional technical education, in areas such as: agriculture, forestry, and environmental protection.
By developing this project, USVT aims to achieve a transfer of theoretical and practical knowledge from the university teaching environment to the pre-university agricultural and forestry environment in the region. Beneficiaries of the courses delivered through this project funded by PNRR I7 will be 160 teaching staff who teach subjects in the field of Life Sciences, within agricultural and forestry high schools in the Western Region and Oltenia Region.
