The University of Life Sciences "King Michael I" of Timișoara, through the Faculty of Agriculture, organizes on March 21 the World Water Day. The event will be attended by students and faculty from the West University of Timișoara, the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, and USVT, as well as representatives from the Regional Meteorological Center BANAT-CRIȘANA, the Banat Water Basin Administration, and AQUATIM S.A. Timișoara.
This year, World Water Day coincides with World Glacier Day, with this year's theme being "Glacier Conservation," a vital issue in the context of climate change and achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6: "Ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all" by 2030. The event will take place in the Senate Hall of USVT on March 21, 2025, starting at 10 AM.
