Bencsik Ioan

He began his career as a researcher in 1984, in the fields of Animal Nutrition and Animal Genetics; starting in 1990, he progressed through all academic ranks, from assistant to habilitated professor; he coordinated courses in the subjects of Genetics, Fish Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Management and Conservation of Genetic Resources, Biotechnology Associated with the Embryo, Human Nutrition and Nutrigenomics, and Genetics of Production and Optimization of Breeding Programs; associate professor at the University of South Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice, Faculty of Agriculture, Czech Republic; associate professor at the Faculty of Bioengineering of Animal Resources, Genetics Department (since 2019). Managerial activity: member of the faculty council (1992-2019); director of Department II Biotechnology (2008-2019); member of the technical-scientific council of the National Agency for Zootechnics "Professor Dr. G. K. Constantinescu," Genetics and Breeding department.
