Cojocariu Luminiţa

Since 1990 - present, a teaching staff member at the Faculty of Agriculture in Timișoara. Throughout my academic career, I have taught courses and practical activities in my field of expertise and in other related areas, both in the bachelor's cycle: Pasture and Forage Crop Culture, Forage Technologies, Production and Distribution of Forages, Pratology, Design and Organization of Research in Agriculture, Organic Agriculture - as well as in the master's program - Sustainable Technologies for Forage Crops, Intensive Forage Production Systems, Successions in Pasture Vegetation, Assessment of Forage Quality, Seed Production in Forage Plants. Scientific activity: Based on the experience and knowledge acquired, as well as on the principle of improvement and deepening of subjects of regional, national, or international interest, the research activity focuses on several directions: improvement and optimization of production in forage plants, multicriteria analysis of pastures; sustainable development of mountainous areas. The results of the research are materialized through the publication of 13 books and university manuals and over three hundred scientific papers published in specialized journals, of which 37 are ISI Web of Science and 165 BDI. Throughout my career, I have participated in over 50 specialized scientific events, both national and international, as well as invention and innovation fairs. The skills and knowledge accumulated have also been applied through coordination or participation, alongside multidisciplinary teams in research contracts at the national or international level. Director of 2 grants funded by CNCSIS and 15 consultancy contracts. I was a member of the research team for 30 contracts focusing on the management of pastures and forage crops. I am a scientific reviewer for BDI and ISI journals and a member of the Editorial and Scientific Council of several specialized scientific journals. As a member, I am active in 7 national and international professional societies.
