Currently teaches the subjects Technology of Horse Breeding, Zootechnical Technologies – Cattle, Design of Cattle Farms in the subject Technology of Cattle Breeding, Design and Technical-Economic Evaluation of Milk Production 1, General Animal Technologies 1. Areas of expertise: raising young cattle, breed improvement of cattle, raising dairy and beef cows, modeling biological processes (growth and lactation), welfare of farm animals, precision zootechnics (PLF). Scientific research activity: cattle fields (29 contracts, of which 1 as director); animal welfare (5 international contracts as responsible for Romania: WELANIMAL, EUWelNet, AWARE, Transport Guides, Animal Care & Welfare: dairy herd welfare indicators); sheep (2 international contracts as responsible for Romania: SheepNet, TechCare). University extension: collaboration with cattle breeders in the region, preparation of technological projects for establishing/upgrading dairy farms (24), fattening (6), and beef cows (5); organization of cattle and horse exhibitions (2006-2019), lectures at fairs and exhibitions, publication of technical articles (185), radio-TV appearances (Romania and Serbia). Publishing activity: books/chapters from books/specialized treaties (8) - Management of the Mammary Gland Function (2003); Management of Meat and Milk Production in Domestic Animals (2008); Experimental Techniques in Zootechnics and Documentary Informatics (2008); Technology of Cattle Breeding – ID Manual (2009); courses (5), guides for practical work (4); original scientific papers (337), of which 25 rated and 7 indexed ISI. Organizer of workshops, seminars, roadshows, and national and international courses in the fields of cattle and animal welfare. Expert within the Small Scale Dairy Farms Working Group (EFSA) (2014-2015), evaluation of scientific research projects (Eureka 2015-2020, IFD 2019), manuscripts, scientific articles for ISI and BDI rated journals.
