Grozea Adrian

He began his academic career in 1992, subsequently progressing through all teaching ranks from assistant to university professor (2007). Since 2008, the year he became a doctoral supervisor in the field of Animal Science, he has coordinated 9 doctoral students. In addition to developing the Aquaculture discipline, where he serves as a course leader, he has introduced a series of new courses over time, both for the bachelor's and master's levels, including: Biotechnology in Aquaculture, Carp Farming, Ichthyology, Super Intensive Aquatic Cultures, Hydrobiology, etc. Managerial activity: he was the associate dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnology in Timișoara (2004-2008), and between 2009-2012 he led the Department for Quality Assurance and the Commission for Evaluation and Quality Assurance within USAMVBT. He attracted funds through several national and international projects that allowed the creation of a "Research Laboratory in Aquaculture" and the development of a practice, research, and production base known as "Pădurea Verde Fish Farm." Within these, he coordinates specific activities as the responsible person for aquaculture activities at the university level.
