Teaching

During more than 28 years of teaching activity, he advocated for the theoretical and practical training of students to enable their integration into a labor market that is difficult to predict. Alongside the establishment of new study programs (bachelor's: Biotechnology in Romanian and English, Entrepreneurship in the Food Industry, master's: Sustainable Biotechnologies, Companion and Leisure Animals), he introduced a series of new courses, both at the bachelor's and master's levels. He contributed to the fundamental change in the way students carry out their internships; in this regard, together with Eurofins Agroscience Services, he laid the foundations of a practice center for students in the Biotechnology study program. The results obtained so far confirm a better insertion of young graduates into the labor market, as they already possess the necessary practical experience for employment. Managerial activity: member of the Senate of the University of Life Sciences "King Michael I" in Timișoara (2012 – present); Research Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Animal Resources Bioengineering (March 2016 - December 2019); Dean of the Faculty of Animal Resources Bioengineering (December 2019 – present); General Director of Eurofins Agroscience Services (2009 – present).
