The Faculty of Bioengineering of Animal Resources is a Doctoral Studies Organizing Institution (IOD), with the mission to train specialists capable of contributing significantly to the development of scientific research and innovation in the fields of animal science, biotechnologies, and agronomy. The doctoral program is designed for graduates of master's degree programs who wish to deepen their scientific knowledge and competencies through advanced, interdisciplinary research with a real impact on the life sciences.
Doctoral studies span four years (full-time) and conclude with the public defense of the doctoral thesis, after which the scientific title of "Doctor" (PhD) in the corresponding field is conferred. The program offers a balanced combination of advanced theoretical training and applied research activity, under the direct coordination of doctoral supervisors—academic staff and researchers with nationally and internationally recognized experience.
PhD candidates are actively involved in scientific research projects, interdisciplinary and international collaborations, and participate in conferences, workshops, and research stays, aiming to develop their research, critical analysis, and scientific communication skills.
