The Engineering and Management in the Tourism Industry study program trains specialists capable of managing and developing tourist and public catering units, with integrated engineering, managerial, and economic competencies. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and emphasizes acquiring fundamental knowledge of tourism, ecotourism, hospitality, and gastronomy, as well as developing skills in leadership, planning, and tourism marketing.

The program has a dual mission: didactic—by training Engineers qualified to meet the demands of the labor market in the tourism and hospitality sector—and scientific research, by developing analysis and innovation skills to improve tourist services and for the sustainable valorization of local and national resources.
