Organization and conduct of admissions
ADMISSION CRITERION FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREE:
The ranking of candidates will be based on the general admission average.
The general admission average is calculated as follows:
- 80% average of the baccalaureate exam
- 20% arithmetic average of the high school years
For admission registration, candidates/authorized persons will submit the following documents:
- in original and Xerox copies of these for certification "in accordance with the original" at the time of registration;
- high school diploma and transcript (or equivalents)
- birth certificate;
- documents for name change, if applicable (marriage certificate, court rulings, etc.)
- for student candidates/graduates of higher education: high school diploma and transcript or equivalents, respectively bachelor's degree or completion of a faculty or college, for those registering for a competition to pursue a second study program;
- other documents
- for student candidates: certificate proving student status,
- medical certificate stating that the person registering for admission is fit for the field they are applying for;
- copy of the identity card;
- 3 color photographs 3/4;
- receipt representing the registration fee;
- for the children of teaching staff and auxiliary teaching staff currently active (pre-university and higher education) a certificate with the stamp of the School Inspectorate or the educational unit, and for orphaned children or children of retired teaching and auxiliary teaching staff, supporting documents (for exemption from the registration fee);
- for the children of employed or retired staff of U.S.V.T. as well as for its employees, a certificate issued by the Human Resources Department for exemption from the registration fee;
- language proficiency certificate for candidates enrolled in study programs conducted in international languages and who do not present the necessary study documents for registration, issued by educational institutions in Romania or abroad, taught in the respective language;
- registration form;
- envelope folder.

ADMISSION CRITERION FOR MASTER'S:
The ranking of candidates will be based on the overall admission average.
The general admission average is calculated with two decimal places without rounding as follows:
- 40% arithmetic average of the years of study;
- 30% average of the diploma/license exam;
- 30% grade obtained in the oral exam (interview based on a topic approved by the faculty council that organizes master's degree studies).
For registration for admission, candidates/authorized persons will submit the following documents:
- original and Xerox copies of these for the certification "in accordance with the original" at the time of enrollment;
- high school diploma and bachelor's degree (or equivalents),
- transcript/supplement to the diploma from the high school/university graduated from,
- birth certificate;
- name change documents, if applicable (marriage certificate, court rulings, etc.)
- for master's students/graduates of master's degree programs pursuing a second specialization, documents proving the certification of the master's degree study regime followed (budget/fee).
- other documents
- medical certificate type indicating that the person applying for admission is fit for the field they are applying for;
- copy of the identity card;
- 3 color photographs 3/4;
- receipt representing the enrollment fee;
- for the children of teaching staff and auxiliary teaching staff currently active (pre-university and higher education) a certificate with the stamp of the School Inspectorate or the educational institution, and for orphans or children of retired teaching and auxiliary teaching staff, supporting documents (for exemption from the enrollment fee);
- for the children of employees or retirees of U.S.V.T. as well as for its employees, a certificate issued by the Human Resources Department for exemption from the enrollment fee;
- language proficiency certificate for a widely spoken foreign language.
